Job Purpose
To perform electrical maintenance and repairs on ERWAT wastewater and Water Treatment equipment. Develop SOP’s and revise when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
Meet with Supervisor on a daily basis to discuss previous day’s maintenance and determine maintenance schedule (ad hoc and routine) for the day. Determine material tool requirements for the day and submit requisitions for the purchasing of equipment material to the Supervisor. Maintains workshop equipment, tools, vehicle for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety. Circuit testing new installations. Maintains workshop equipment tools, vehicle for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety. Maintenance and repairs on motor control centres that includes variable speed drives and electronic motor protection systems. Assist the immediate supervisor with general administrative tasks as may be required from time -to -time.

Minimum Requirements:

• Electrical Tade Test
• Code EB Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years working experience as an Electrician preferably in wastewater and water treatment industry.
